Wow, it's been 6 months and 6 days since my last post! It's currently Fleet Week in NYC ... makes me think of that Sex and the City episode so I think I'll stay on the East side this weekend. Last night I had a great time at the Colbert Report taping with Catherine and Audra. Then we strolled down 9th Ave and had a fabulous greek dinner on the patio. Jackie Mason stopped by the restaurant and after dinner he came to talk to us ... called us trouble makers. What a cute little man he is!

So, what have I been up to since November?

Where I've Been (Outside the City)

• Atlantic City - won some money ... then lost it.
• Empire City in Yonkers - won some money and actually kept it!
• Buenos Aires with my friend Chrissy
• Toronto to visit some very good friends ... I really miss the T-dot

What I've Done (Around the City)

• Watched the Presidential Election in Times Square
• Had my parents visit me for US Thanksgiving ... coldest week on record here in NYC too!
• Boat tour around the City
• Empire State Building ... on the windiest day
• WTC
• Central Park ... on the hottest day
• The Rockettes Christmas Show at Radio City/ Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree
• Shopping, shopping and MORE shopping. And, if you know me, I don't like shopping but it's different here and I may have a problem!
• Bought a couple of great purses in Chinatown ;-)
• Moved ... AGAIN! Living in Murray Hill now in a non-water-hammer, elevator building, 6 blocks from work. Outside my window I can see the Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building and all the ships coming in on the East River. Outside the front door you can see the Chrysler Building, Long Island and the UN.
• Two performances of the New York Philharmonic
• Spent New Year's with great friends! Miss you Matt & Joanne!!
• David Letterman Show w/ Michael J. Fox - Canadian Edition :)
• Stephen Colbert - love love love him!
• South Street Seaport ... definitely will be back this summer. It's sort of like Granville Island.
• Walked around most of the City ... still need visit the upper west side though.
• My first play! God of Carnage with James Gandolfini, Marcia Gay Harden, Jeff Daniels and Hope Davis.

Amazing Restaurants

• Nobu in Tribeca ... good food but really pricey.
• Spice Market in the meat packing district ... really good food.
• French Bistro in SOHO - so amazing ... how does anyone stay thin here??
• My first brunch with Susanne, Will and Catherine at Vintage in Union Square.
• Uncle Nick's - best Greek food

Celebrities I've Seen (this list isn't half as good as some of my friends)

• Dennis Rodman in Times Square walking with a hooker on each arm
• Mariska Hargitay & Christopher Meloni - Law & Order SVU taping near the Brooklyn Bridge
• Jackie Mason came and talked to us at Uncle Nick's Greek Restaurant on the West Side last night after Colbert

So, what's next? I know I'm missing out on a lot of non-touristy things ... Here's my list ... what else am I missing out on??

• See a concert, dine at the Boat House and skate in Central Park
• Go to SNL
• Visit the museums
• Visit Harlem on a Sunday
• Coney Island
• Brooklyn
